Kirk A. Lis, 65, August 6, 2018, longtime resident of Chicago’s Southwest side-Clearing neighborhood, recent resident at Symphony of Crestwood. Beloved longtime companion of the late Jean Drop-Gonzalez; devoted son of the late Ignatius J. and Virginia T. Depa Lis; loving brother of the late John W. Lis; dear friend to Michael Ryniec and Denise O'Dowd; Uncle Kirk to Louis Tomas (Desiree) and Caitlin Gonzalez. A kind and gentle soul– a friend and neighbor to many.
After receiving his Bachelor Degree from DePaul University, Kirk spent 20 years in the fast food industry, managing Wendy’s, Burger King and Ponderosa restaurants. He then became manager of Kerasotes Theaters where he retired in 2014.
Graveside Service Friday, Aug. 17, 1 p.m., at Resurrection Cemetery, 7200 Archer Road, Justice, IL. Family and friends will first gather at cemetery office.
