Condolences

Condolence From: Chuck Luna
Condolence: Miss Van Hess, your passing has truly come as a shock and a difficult reality check. You are truly a sweet person and will be greatly missed by many, especially me. To the Van Hess family and friends my sincere condolences. A prayer for Pat: May the road rise up to meet you. May the wind be always at your back. May the sun shine warm upon your face, the rains fall soft upon your fields, And until we meet again, May GOD hold you in the palm of his hand. God Speed! Farewell Friend!

Condolence From: Carl Hallen
Condolence: Aunt Pat,

To say that the word of your passing came as a shock would be an understatement, it came with the force of hitting a brick wall at full speed. But after the initial shock wore off, the wonderful memories of spending time in your home with you, Uncle Ed, Pam, Danny, (and Patches) rolled in like gentle waves.

I remember Dad, Mom, Hanley, and I spending time in your home after we returned from Japan all those years ago and being introduced to salami and provolone cheese (not exactly a local delicacy overseas back then); the summers in your backyard grilling hot dogs and hamburgers while Hanley, Pam, and I played on the Slip & Slide (Danny you were still a little guy then) while Dad, Uncle Eddie, and you chatted for hours on end; and the Christmas visits in your cozy living room.

We'll miss forwarding pictures to you of William as he grows up but he will know of his Aunt Pat and Uncle Eddie as he gets older (by the way he already likes provolone cheese).

Say "Hi!" to Uncle Eddie for us and tell him that I still remember the time he left the pizzas on top of the car as he drove away from Chuck E' Cheese!

We miss you and if you happen to see them, please remind Evie and Rosie not to get into too much mischief.

Until we meet again...

Love,

Carl, Anabelle, & William
